About the Role
As a member of the team, here’s what to expect:
- Physician Connections: This will mainly involve reaching out to physicians from different specialties within your school’s jurisdiction. This gives you the opportunity to network with physicians in various fields, and have their experiences represented on Doc Days. The expectation is to have at least 5 new physicians registered every month.
- Team-Meetings: We’ll meet once a month to check-in, delegate assignments, provide progress updates, and address any questions/concerns. This is a great opportunity to present your work and connect with medical students from other universities.
- Onboarding Session: This will take place at the very beginning of your Doc Days journey. We’ll go over the Doc Days mission, what to expect as a member of the team, how to reach out to physicians, and we’ll also be sure to go through any questions you have!
Time Commitment: 4-6 hours/month, 1-year term
